Whatever your level, study the Finnish language with our high-quality and engaging digital self-study courses.

• For YKI students, we have 20 courses specifically designed to help you prepare for the National certificates of language proficiency (YKI) test at intermediate level. Our self-study materials will help you prepare for the reading and listening comprehension and writing tests. They include text, audio and writing exercises on topics similar to the ones that you will do in the YKI test.

• For beginners, we have a series called "Startti suomeen". Each 1-2 hour course includes listening and pronunciation practice, clearly presented vocabulary and/or grammar focused on a specific topic, practice and revision exercises, and downloadable PDFs of the key vocabulary from the course.

• For intermediate-level learners, we have a series called "Asiakaspalvelua suomeksi". Learn Finnish in authentic worklife settings: public transportation, retail sales, cafes and restaurants, nursing and healthcare and the cleaning industry. Each 60-minute course includes texts and dialogues for you to listen to and read, comprehension exercises, vocabulary-building activities, and clearly-explained grammar sections.

• For fluent or native-speakers of Finnish, we offer "Suomen kielenhuolto". This eight-hour programme in two parts will teach you about the different aspects of the Finnish language and will develop your confidence in your Finnish-language writing skills.
